Dr. Meghan Powell, DVM

Dr. Meghan Powell has wanted to be a veterinarian since second grade, making veterinary medicine a lifelong dream. Originally from Louisiana, Meghan moved to the Carolinas in 2020 to be closer to the mountains and has loved calling the Carolinas home ever since. She has been working in veterinary medicine for 14 years and feels incredibly fortunate to do what she loves every day.

Dr. Meghan has a special passion for senior pet care, preventative medicine, and client education. She is also pursuing additional training in animal acupuncture and integrative medicine, with a goal of finding additional ways to support her patients’ comfort and quality of life.

Outside of the clinic, Meghan enjoys spending time with her husband and her two pets, Winkie and Mango. She is a big foodie and loves trying new restaurants, along with watching thriller movies, thrifting and antiquing, and exploring the mountains, lake, and beach.

She is excited to be part of the Mill Town Veterinary Clinic family and looks forward to getting to know you and your pets!
