Dr. Meghan Courey, DVM

Dr. Courey is a small animal veterinarian who is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care for pets and their families.

She earned her bachelor's degree from Clemson University (Go Tigers!) before receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Mississippi State University in 2022. Prior to joining the team at Mill Town, Dr. Courey practiced in the greater Raleigh area.

Dr. Courey enjoys many aspects of veterinary medicine with particular interests in surgery, clinical pathology, and feline medicine. She believes in building lasting relationships with her patients and their families, as she feels continuity of care is an important part of providing high-quality medicine.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Courey enjoys spending time with her husband, Peter, their daughter, Daphne, and their two dogs and three cats.

When she's not at work, you can find her cooking and baking, or spending time outdoors with her family. Having grown up in Fort Mill and attended middle school right across the street, she is especially excited to have the opportunity to practice veterinary medicine in the community she calls home.
