Dentistry
When was the last time your pet had their teeth cleaned? Have they ever had their teeth cleaned?
If it’s been a while or if there are signs of periodontal disease such as terrible breath, redness, and bleeding around the gum line, yellow or brown plaque build-up, or exposed roots, bring your pet in for a dental consultation.
During the visit, Dr. McGarity can determine a treatment plan and present you with a comprehensive estimate of the financial costs to expect.
We will be able to walk you through the cleaning procedure, show you before-and-after photos of other patients, and possibly start your pet on a course of antibiotics to decrease the risk of infection before any necessary extractions. ‘
We are proud of our dental health capabilities at Mill Town Vet.
With a top-of-the-line dental machine, including an ultrasonic scaler and a high-speed drill, we can safely and effectively clean and remove any diseased teeth. We are also able to examine a patient’s mouth under anesthesia adequately and can remove any suspicious growths while they are anesthetized.
Only the most modern and safest anesthesia protocols are used, and our monitoring and patient warming capabilities ensure your pet is safe and recovers quickly and comfortably as soon as the procedure is complete.
And, as always, if there is something Dr. McGarity feels should be addressed at a referral center, he will help you find the right veterinary dental specialist for the job.
Dr. Adam McGarity welcomes you to visit the new Mill Town Veterinary Clinic.
