Internal Medicine

As your pet’s primary care veterinarian, we are prepared for a wide range of illnesses and accidents.

In-house blood work, digital radiography, blood pressure, electrocardiogram, and ultrasound capabilities ensure your pet will receive a thoughtful, safe and complete work-up.

We have room for 18 pets in our hospital and although we are not a 24-hour facility we can offer hospitalization in some situations.

If, however, your pet’s condition is serious enough to warrant round-the-clock monitoring or if further diagnostics are necessary, we promise to help you choose the right place to take them and will work closely with the other hospital for a smooth transition.

Our in-house lab can diagnose infections, low blood levels (anemia), liver disease, kidney disease, urinary tract infections, and endocrine disorders including diabetes and thyroid dysfunction.

With digital X-ray capabilities, we will have top-notch films to diagnose problems, and when necessary, send to a veterinary radiologist for a second opinion.

With the Philips Lumify ultrasound unit, we can safely obtain sterile urine samples, check for bladder stones and infection, look for spleen and liver tumors, and check for abdominal bleeding.

Having these tools at our disposal allow us to be confident in your pet’s treatment plan.
